Our awkward first date...

...is what I feel my first post will basically be. At least I don't have to worry about you getting that "emergency call" half way through.

I want to briefly introduce myself and tell you why I hope we make it to a second date. 

I'm Lisa. I moved to Austin in late 2009 and I hope to never leave. Currently, I'm a Public Relations Associate for Snackbox PR & Design Agency, Pet Party Planner with Party Animals and Creative Director for Hydrant - Off Leash Marketing. The last two businesses being my startups. That's enough for my self-promotion.

Why do you want to see me again? Well, I'm going to try and make this interesting for you. I write a fun, pet blog - Haute Dog in the City - and now I want to write for the Humans! Let's chat about PR, social media and marketing. Let's watch some fun advertisements. Let's virtually party crash some events. Let's see what @CharlieSheen will tweet next. Let's just have fun together.
